| Here's a new venture for me. Since this Spring, I've struck up a wonderful musical collaboration with a remakable young fiddler named Connor Dugan. Only 18 years old, he's been winning fiddle contests in the adult catagory for several years now. So we've formed a duo called "The Geezer and the Kid", and will be doing an opening act at my home turf, The Minstrel. It'll be a mix of Connor's hot fiddling to my guitar and concertina accompaniment, and some of my songs with his fiddle backup. Plus a few surprises. And the feature act that night, Brian McNeill is brilliant as well. He's a multi-instrumentalist, a great singer and writer, and the front man of the well-known Scottish supergroup, The Battlefield Band. Well worth coming to see on his own.
